'He, she, they, it and someone else': Gender identity is real in workplaces

Local | By Press release April 28, 2022

Willemstad – 'Can she use our restrooms because she has a penis'. That was the recognizable reaction of females in workplaces when dealing with the new colleague. This is if they know, because most of the time one does not know what is in the pants of anyone. But is this your business?

Are workplaces changing because of the reality that we do know more now about genders? Can everything stay the same as we are accustomed to?

"About Women and Gender Identity" is the topic this year during the 19th Annual Female Leadership Conference in Curaçao on May 28 and 29, 2022, both physical and virtual in Curaçao.

This annual female conference started in 2004 with the focus on professionals and their environment, either private or at work.

Having this interesting topic this year is to help those who changed identity and also business owners, employers, HR departments, government officials, to keep a safe and productive workspace for everyone.

The ultimate goal of any business is to be productive and nothing is allowed to hinder this.

Information on how many people are suffering and living in isolation because of gender identity is necessary to be shared to get a bigger understanding of what is living in communities; all over the world.

Participants will get valuable information for themselves and tips on how to be when a gender challenge comes up and also when someone with a gender change applies for a position.

3 keynote speakers will share their opinion on the 28 of May on how gender is understood, how to understand gender and how gender is in these changing times.

Focus on the 29th will be on building success with tips and wisdom shared for the good life of every participant.

This 19th Annual Female Leadership Conference at La Belle Alliance of the Avila Beach Hotel is also again a vibrant combination of fun, recognitions, learning, empowerment, energy, building valuable relationships, create connections, good food and best of all: of great people coming together.

Each participant just as happened during the last 18 conferences, must leave the conference with valuable information, encouraged and empowered, knowing that he/she/they can be best.
