Local | By Correspondent April 1, 2022

THE HAGUE - The Dutch General Administrative Service has started the search for the successor to Director-General for Kingdom Relations Henk Brons, who is leaving the Ministry of the Interior because of approaching retirement age.

Brons held the then new position since 1 July 2018, after having been quartermaster for several months before that. He combined that position with the acting directorship of Kingdom Relations and with his position as representative of the Netherlands in Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten.

Previously, Brons was Director-General of the Government Information Service at the Ministry of General Affairs and Director of Information at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. He studied journalism in Utrecht and worked as a journalist for the newspaper Het Vrije Volk.
