WILLEMSTAD - The five suspects in the murder of Angel Rodriguez received high prison sentences yesterday. The body of the Venezuelan businessman was found in April last year. According to the Public Prosecution, the man was robbed, kidnapped, and buried alive in February.
The main suspect is Mauricio. He gets 16 years in prison. Not the highest punishment, because he helped the police and received a reduced sentence. The highest penalty is for his friend Montilon, who was given 22 years. Three others received sentences ranging from five to ten years.
