Higher penalty demand for driving without insurance

WILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecution Service will tackle drivers without insurance harder. Soon they will lose their driving license and receive prison sentences if they become repeated offenders.

At least that will be demanded by the Public Prosecutor. Last year, in two out of ten accidents, at least one of the drivers turned out to have no insurance or an expired insurance policy.
