WILLEMSTAD - The Hilton hotel will close on Tuesday 3 September due to a thorough renovation.
The entire complex - including beach, gym and spa, restaurants and bars - will close for three months. Only the casino remains open.
Hilton has been called Curacao Caribbean Resort since June and will be an all-inclusive hotel. The new owner, Dreams Resort, is investing a total of 12 million dollars in the old Hilton.
