WILLEMSTAD - A pedestrian was seriously injured on Sunday evening after a motorist hit him. This happened on Andres Belloweg in Brievengat.
The driver of the car hit the pedestrian as he walked along the road and took off speeding.
Bystanders gave first aid; an ambulance took the victim to hospital in a serious condition.
