Local | By Correspondent July 28, 2022

WILLEMSTAD - Hòfi Mango, the site of the well-known Curaçao comedian Jandino Asporaat, will open its doors to the public on September 17. That says Asporaat to the Dutch newspaper Trouw.

According to Jandino, Hòfi Mango is a "well-kept secret that will become the number 1 park in the Caribbean." The comedian has big plans for the Hòfi. For example, he wants to work on the restoration of the dams and the gardener training for young people from Curaçao will soon start. The site will be filled with local plants and trees. Soon there will also be a beekeeper and a catering facility.

To set up the project, Jandino did an internship at Keukenhof in the Netherlands and visited several national parks in South Africa.
