WILLEMSTAD - Arthur Hogesteger was transferred from Curaçao to the Netherlands last week to serve the rest of his prison sentence, warden Urny Floran confirms.
Hogesteger killed his wife by stabbing her 35 times in 2015 and was sentenced to 23 years and 10 months in prison.
Floran informs that Hogesteger has not been transferred due to security risks. The transfer was requested by Hogesteger himself in order to be close to his children.
Hogesteger has always denied being responsible for his wife's death. During his detention in Sentro di Detenshon i Korekshon Kòrsou (SDKK) prison, he wrote a book about this.
