WILLEMSTAD - There was a big crowd at Fuikbaai on Sunday despite the government's announced corona measures. Boat parties were held in the bay with loud music. The police issued a warning.
Images circulated on social media of an overcrowded Fuikbaai where people were partying close to each other. “The rules taken by the government to reduce the number of infections also apply at sea,” emphasizes the Curaçao Police Force (KPC).
It is not allowed to come together with boats or to moor at a pier. In addition, only half of the usual number of passengers are allowed on board and only background music is allowed. The police are calling on everyone to take responsibility and adhere to the measures.
