WILLEMSTAD - Human Rights Caribbean is disappointed in the plans of Undersecretary of the Interior and Kingdom Relations Raymond Knops. He pledged 48 million guilders to the ABC islands to help them with the Venezuelan refugee crisis.
That amount is almost entirely intended for the arrest and imprisonment of Venezuelans. According to the human rights organization, with the choice of Knops, a wonderful opportunity has been lost to achieve fair and decent treatment for Venezuelan refugees.
