WILLEMSTAD - The hunger strikers in the SDKK prison have suspended their action until after their summary proceedings, coming Wednesday. In it they demand release pending a decision by the Minister of Justice.
The twelve Venezuelans have been detained for longer than the permitted six months. Members of the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament have asked questions about the detention conditions.
Yves Schoop of the MAN also asked written parliamentary questions to the Minister of Justice.
