Contribution reinforces national commitment to innovation, talent development, and Curaçao’s economic future.
WILLEMSTAD - During its 25-year anniversary celebration, IBIS Management Associates made a surprise announcement that left the audience and the CINEX team speechless: a donation of XCg 25,000 to support the development of the Curaçao Innovation Hub.

The contribution was presented live on stage by Clark Russel, CEO of IBIS Management during the company’s 25-year milestone event, symbolizing IBIS Management’s long-standing commitment to strengthening Curaçao’s Technology sector, fostering collaboration, innovation, and investing in the island’s next generation talent.
“We are incredibly grateful for this generous and unexpected support from IBIS Management,” said Miles Mercera, CEO of CINEX. “This donation reflects not only their belief in the Innovation Hub, but also their leadership in shaping Curaçao’s future. Their endorsement energizes our mission and sets an example for other organizations to contribute.”
IBIS Management, a leading Caribbean fintech and banking solutions provider, has played a pivotal role in digitizing the banking landscape of the greater Caribbean for the past 25 years. Their donation aligns naturally with their vision to empower businesses, advance digital transformation, and build a competitive and resilient economy.
The Curaçao Innovation Hub, launched on November 27, 2025, aims to create a national platform for research, technology, creativity, and export-readiness. The Hub brings together public institutions, academia, and private-sector partners to accelerate Curaçao’s innovation ecosystem.
With this donation, IBIS Management became one of the first private-sector contributors to the Hub’s development, helping CINEX move closer to securing the XCg 500,000 required to activate Phase 1 of the project.
CINEX invites additional partners, businesses, and community members to join this movement and contribute to Curaçao’s innovation future. More information and pledge options can be found at: www.curacaoinnovationhub.com
