WILLEMSTAD - The illegal man who was injured the day before yesterday during an interception by the Coast Guard was not hit by a bullet. This is apparent on closer examination. A boat with 8 people on board was arrested on Tuesday evening.
The coast guard fired warning shots and initially assumed that the man had been hit by them. The man appeared to have injured himself on board the vessel.
Last night, the drug packages that were thrown overboard during the action were recovered. The amount and type of drugs are unknown.
