IMANA contributes to the voedselbank

WILLEMSTAD - In these times of international health difficulties and economic downturn, all members of the community are joining hands to overcome the challenges posed to us. With this in mind IMANA (the organization of Indian Merchants of Curacao) is working and contributing behind the scenes to support the community of Curacao. As part of an effort of overall community support, IMANA has made a donation of ANG 13500.00 to the VOEDSELBANK (The Curaçao Foodbank). Volunteers from the Indian community are at the disposal of the Food Bank to aid their logistics for the packing and distribution of the food packages to those in need.

IMANA is the umbrella organization of the Indian Community. This was the first of several donations sponsored by IMANA. Soon additional donations will follow.

IMANA’s contributions come from several foundations and associations of the Indian Community. IMANA consisting of ICAC (Indian Cultural Association of Curacao - Hindu Temple Zuurzak); CREFONA (Crematorium Foundation of the Netherlandse Antilles) and CIBA (Curacao Indian Business Association).
