WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao has dollars in cash for just over 4.5 months to pay for imports. The standard is three months. This is according to the numbers presented by the Central Bank of Curaçao and St. Maarten (CBCS).
In total it is 2.2 billion guilders, at the beginning of the corona crisis that was still 1.9 billion. The fact that there is more in cash is due to the liquidity support from the Netherlands.
