Increased military activity in Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD - The coming week, increased military activity can be seen in Curaçao.

Navy units from Aruba and Sint Maarten arrived last weekend for a major military exercise. It will take place at the shooting range of Wacawa and will last until February 2. 120 soldiers will participate.

Due to Corona, the units have been quarantined before departure. During the exercise, the soldiers stay together in a bubble. The transport of the navy officers to Curaçao took place by sea with naval vessel Pelikaan.
