WILLEMSTAD - Epidemiologist Dr. Izzy Gerstenbluth emphasizes that the infection rate R, the number of people who infect a person with covid-19, must remain below 1. This is based on whether the virus infection decreases or rises.
Dr. Gerstenbluth also hopes with the new easing measures that hygiene and social distance measures will continue to be observed.
The current measures will be evaluated in two weeks, on 1 February.
