THE HAGUE - The number of active infections on St. Eustatius has returned to zero. The outbreak on Bonaire is on the wane and a cautious decline appears to have started on St. Maarten.
The Dutch Minister of Public Health Hugo de Jonge reports this to the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament.
The number of positively tested people is also declining in Aruba. On Curaçao there is a limited growth in the number of new positive cases, but this does not yet give cause for additional measures to be taken.
At the beginning of October, the Netherlands provided assistance to Curaçao to set up a second drive-through test facility and to strengthen the source and contact tracing.
