WILLEMSTAD - The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) closed a Bike & Breakfast at Jan Thiel yesterday.
The Toko, as the colorful apartment complex is called, is located at the end of the Caracasbaaiweg. According to the Inspectorate, the papers and permits are not in order.
The owner of The Toko is angry and reports in the morning newspaper Extra that he had contacted the Inspectorate by telephone to convince them that all his documents were in order. But this was in vain. According to the owner, it has often happened that the Inspectorate is mistaken. He says that MEO has made a mistake in closing his business.
