WILLEMSTAD — Instituto Buena Bista is inviting the public to attend the IBB Radio Open Day, an open and informal afternoon dedicated to community radio, creativity and connection. The event offers visitors an opportunity to explore experimental radio, experience what it is like to create a radio show, and learn how they can contribute behind the scenes.
The program begins on Friday, January 23, with the workshop “Make Your Own Radio Show” from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Participants will be guided through the basics of radio production and creative broadcasting. This will be followed by a guided tour of the radio studio and a question-and-answer session from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The afternoon will conclude from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the opportunity to book a tutorial and schedule a personal radio show.
IBB Radio says it is actively looking for new radio shows, producers and volunteers interested in contributing to an open, experimental and community-driven radio platform.
The Open Day will take place at Instituto Buena Bista, entrance Klinika Capriles, located at Mohikanenweg 8 in Curaçao. Organizers encourage anyone interested in radio, media, or creative community projects to attend and get involved.
