WILLEMSTAD - Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath indicated yesterday during a press conference that there is a concrete interest among international companies to take over the Curacao refinery for a long period.
A technical inspection will soon be carried out by one of the candidates. Rhuggenaath gave no further details but emphasized that there is every reason for optimism.
A special refinery negotiating team has held talks in Europe, America and China in recent weeks.
