Local | By Correspondent February 28, 2020

WILLEMSTAD - Organizations in the international financial sector in Curaçao recently sent a letter to the Prime Minister of Curaçao Eugene Rhuggenaath and the Minister of Finance Kenneth Gijsbertha about the current situation at the Central Bank of Curaçao and St. Maarten (CBCS).

These financial organizations want international experts to be involved to solve the problems at the Central Bank. They say that they are concerned about the current situation at the highest financial entity of the island.

The bank has suffered damage to its image on international level due to recent incidents involving members of the executive board.
