THE HAGUE - The investigation into the controversial expense reimbursement of more than 40,000 euros collected by Director-General Kingdom Relations Henk Brons takes more time than minister Kajsa Ollongren of the Interior has presented to the House of Representatives in December.
As an explanation for the delay, her spokesman states that 'carefulness exceeds speed'. The investigation by the Central Audit Service (ADR) is already in the final phase.
Henk Brons was stationed in Curaçao as the Representative of the Netherlands.
