IpKo talks behind closed doors about COHO

Local | By Correspondent May 3, 2022

PHILIPSBURG - All items on the agenda that have to do with the Caribbean Reform and Development Agency during the Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultation are discussed behind closed doors by the delegations. This even applies to the so-called 'technical briefing'.

The Parliaments of Curaçao and Sint Maarten are firmly against the Caribbean Organ for Reform and Development (COHO). Aruba's position is diffuse. Today, the countries are trying to close ranks in a tripartite setting. The IpKo will start tomorrow with the opening speeches by the delegation leaders. The closing is Friday with the signing of a joint appointment list.
