WILLEMSTAD - It is now also possible to file a police report on the website of the Curaçao Police Force. Victims of, for example, theft, vandalism, threats, or assault can report the incident from home.
By means of an E-form (electronic form) the victim can report the crime online via the website of the police. "To make the process easier and faster, especially in times of minimized personal contact, the online report is the solution," said the police. Since March last year, police reports could only be filed by appointment or by e-mail.
The form allows you to report the crime as a victim, on behalf of the victim or as a company. After this the incident details are requested, the incident type and files can be added. The form is then sent digitally to the police. The officers will use this to help the victim as soon as possible and they will contact them by phone or e-mail.
