WILLEMSTAD - Jacintha Constancia will not run for office in the parliamentary elections which will be held on March 19 next year. The current MFK Member of Parliament was recently convicted of fraud with face masks when she was still a minister.
In addition to a prison sentence, she is no longer allowed to hold public office for five years. Being elected to parliament is allowed. With her decision to resign, Constancia's 18-year political career comes to an end.
