KRALENDIJK - During an inspection in the Judicial Institution Caribbean Netherlands (JICN) on Bonaire, a cell phone was found in the cell of former Minister of Finance, George Jamaloodin.
Jamaloodin is suspected of being involved in the murder of Helmin Wiels. He is in prison in Bonaire for his own safety. It is the third time that he has been in possession of a telephone. The management is taking more stringent measures.
Chief Prosecutor Ter Steege has been informed by the institution. He said that the Caribbean Netherlands Police Force was also informed about the case.
