WILLEMSTAD - The Los Angeles Dodgers last night won the World Series baseball for the first time since 1988. In the sixth game with the Tampa Bay Ray's, it became 3-1, good for a final 4-2 lead in games.
The overall win also means that Curaçao player Kenley Jansen wins his first World Series title. Although he did not play in the final game, he played an important part in this successful season for the Dodgers as closing pitcher.
