WILLEMSTAD - The Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba has been admitted as the 103rd member of the Superior Courts Network.
This is a network of courts, founded in 2015, which is affiliated with the European Court of Human Rights and currently consists, with the Common Court, of 103 courts from 45 different countries.
The purpose of the Superior Courts Network is to ensure an effective exchange of information between the highest national courts and the European Court of Human Rights. On behalf of the Common Court, Judge Mr. Sigmar Carmelia acts as the liaison in the Superior Courts Network.
