WILLEMSTAD - During a press conference, the Department of Public Works showed the damage on the Juliana Bridge caused by one of the Gantry Cranes on February 16. On the pictures, one can see the damage which appears to be very small.
The department says that the bridge is in good condition and that the collision did not affect the structure at all.
The structure is in good shape and that is why the bridge was reopened a few hours after the incident. After that, authorities performed three other tests at different sections of the bridge. Everything appeared to be in good shape.
