AMSTERDAM - Curaçao resident Kevin Osepa has been nominated for a Golden Calf in the Short Film category. The most important Dutch film prizes are awarded during the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht at the end of September.
The short film La Ultima Ascencion is set on Banda'bou and is about a fisherman who is faced with the daily challenge of catching his fish. Then a mysterious man enters his life and everything changes. Osepa is 28 years old and has been involved in photography and film for quite some time and studied at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht. He was previously nominated with the short film Watamula.
