SCHIPHOL, WILLEMSTAD - The seat capacity on KLM flights to Curaçao is going to decrease. Previously, KLM said that supply depends on demand.
But according to KLM CEO Harm Kreulen, there is a twist in that question. By phasing out the Boeing 747 and introducing the Dreamliner, the number of flights will remain the same, but with 64 seats per flight fewer.
Aviation experts say that with this strategy KLM does not have to compromise on the average ticket price due to lower consumer demand.
