WILLEMSTAD - LabdeMed can use new tests to determine within 24 hours whether someone is infected with measles. The laboratory center previously took two weeks because the investigations were sent to the Netherlands.
Cases of measles are increasingly common in the rest of the world and the region, but not yet in Curaçao. The Ministry of Health has started an awareness campaign.
