WILLEMSTAD – The Department of Public Works (OW) has announced that Landhuis Parera will undergo an intensive pest control treatment between Thursday, December 11, and Saturday, December 13, 2025.
During this period, the entire building will be fully covered as part of the treatment process. No work activities will be allowed inside the building, and access will be restricted to personnel from HepCo, the company contracted to carry out the specialized treatment. As a result, OW offices at Landhuis Parera will be closed to the public on the specified days.
In addition, a safety perimeter of five meters around the building will be enforced, with no movement or entry permitted until HepCo officially declares the area safe for access and operations to resume.
According to HepCo, if the treatment proceeds as planned, Landhuis Parera is expected to be accessible again to employees and the public as of Monday, December 15.
OW has requested understanding from the public, emphasizing that the measure is necessary to ensure a safe, healthy, and comfortable working environment for everyone who uses the facility.
