WILLEMSTAD - Olga Kostrzewski's, Norman Serphos’ lawyer, has filed a complaint against the Public Prosecution Service (OM). This is because the OM would not have done anything about the death threats against Serphos.
The former spokesperson for the OM is said to have been threatened with death after his statement on Facebook. He also stated the threats as the reason for reporting that his account was hacked. Later that turned out not to be the case.
Serphos was found guilty this week of filing a false complaint. He was sentenced to 40 hours of community service, unconditionally. Kostrzewski says he is still discussing a possible higher appeal.
