WILLEMSTAD - On Friday, July 16, 2021, contractor LB Constructie B.V. invoked the right of retention on four apartment blocks located at Scharlooweg 25-27. In total there are 40 apartments, which are better known as “Ritz Residence Apartments”.
Exercising the right of retention means that LB Constructie has actual power over the (construction) work, which it has made known to the client. LB Constructie B.V. also communicated to third parties that there is a right of retention on the aforementioned real estate. Fences and signs have been placed around the building by the contractor.
