WILLEMSTAD - There are currently 89 locations in Curaçao for the individual sale of sandwiches, hot dogs, batidos, vegetables, fruit and fish. Of these, only 23 meet the set rules and permits.
The Ministry of Economic Development announced this yesterday. The ministry has announced stricter controls. But will also give these food stands the time to get their documents in order. The inspection team of the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) will start their inspections soon. If these food stands still do not comply with the law, they will be closed.
