WILLEMSTAD - The lighthouse at Oostpunt (east point) has been broken for months. Not only is the construction in very poor condition, but recently the light installation also stopped working.
The lighthouse is on Willy Maal's estate. He also says he has not received rent from the government for decades.
He has informed the Ministry of Urban Planning about the problems long ago, but so far there has been no response from the government officials.
