WILLEMSTAD - The list of patients whose surgery has been postponed has risen to over 200, says Serving Keli, public health inspector.
The government has provided financial resources to normalize the situation, but that has not yet happened.
Keli acknowledges that there is not enough money now, but whether the available money has been used properly must be investigated. He argues that it is therefore necessary for the inspection to have access to the finances of the hospital.
This was refused and the inspection imposed a budgetary instruction.
