FRESH: MI MAMA
Inspired by the women from his own upbringing and his journey to fatherhood, dance phenom Remses Rafaela follows his curiosity and takes on the challenge of mapping a woman's world. His greatest motivation are his children. His son and daughter are the two biggest drivers behind his personal journey. He wants to build a world where his children feel understood, heard and supported. In order to make this world a reality, he feels it is his duty to try to understand women better. During FRESH: Mi Mama, Remses invites different women to share their stories in the form of dance, music and film. "Dare to walk your own path, even if it is different from the path your parents set out for you. If you keep walking in someone else's footsteps, nothing will ever change," explains Remses.
