WILLEMSTAD - Two of the three lanes at the Vehicle Inspection Hall are not operational. This leads to long waiting times when vehicles are inspected. This is reported by Melvin Doran, director of the Traffic and Transport Service.
Some drivers have to wait more than an hour before it is their turn for their inspection. According to Doran, the waiting time should be less than an hour, which is only possible in 68 percent of the cases. The Inspection Hall is waiting for a number of parts to get the two lanes operational again.
The director thinks these lanes should be back up and running by next week at the latest.
