WILLEMSTAD - A low number of new infections has been reported in recent days. On Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Sunday, the Epidemiology Department reported 46 new cases of Covid-19. A total of 467 people were tested.
Normally, between 400 and 600 people are tested daily. Considerably less testing was done due to Christmas.
39 new cases were reported on Christmas Day, two new infections were reported on Boxing Day and four new cases on Sunday.
There are currently 12 patients in hospital, five of which are in intensive care.
