WILLEMSTAD - Today MNO Vervat started maintenance work on the railings of the Koningin Julianabrug. No lane will be closed, but traffic will be affected.
The maintenance of the bridge will take about a month, the Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP) said. The railings of the bridge on the side where traffic is driving towards Punda are the first to be tackled.
For the safety of motorists, warning signs have been placed from Serí Dòmi. No lane is closed. Instead, orange cones have been placed along the side of the road to narrow the lane and slow traffic.
