WILLEMSTAD - The pontoon bridge is out of service this week. The reason is the major maintenance work on the bridgehead on the Otrobanda side.
The work is expected to last until Monday. In the meantime, the public can use the ferries between Punda and Otrobanda. This is important to know because this Friday the stores in downtown Punda and Otrabanda will be open again.
