WILLEMSTAD - A Dominican man drowned yesterday afternoon. At around a quarter past five, the police received a report that a man had died at Mambo Beach.
The swimmer got into trouble in the water and swallowed a lot of water. Bystanders took the victim to shore. CPR was to no avail. The emergency services were also unable to do anything for the man. The identity of the drowned man is still unknown.
