WILLEMSTAD - The MAN faction in parliament has submitted a request for an urgent debate on road safety and infrastructure in Curaçao.
According to the traffic laws in Curaçao, a motorist is not allowed to drive faster than 80 kilometers per hour. But this speed limit is not being respected at all in Curaçao.
The MAN party is doing this in response to the recent accident in which mother and child were killed. During this meeting the group wants to debate with the Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning, the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Government Administration, Planning and Services.
