WILLEMSTAD - The coalition party MAN hopes that its own Minister of Finance will stay on, despite the possible budgetary instruction from the Kingdom Council of Ministers in The Hague. Kenneth Gijsbertha had previously said he would resign if it came so far.
The blue party believes that its minister has done everything to turn the tide, but that the economic forces are strong. It, therefore, appeals to Gijsbertha to continue and to remain in office until the end to show his sense of responsibility to the Curaçao community.
