WILLEMSTAD - The police have carried out various raids on construction projects in collaboration with Tax Accountant Bureau (SBAB), Social Insurance Bank (SVB) and the Ministry of Social Development, Labor and Welfare (SOAW). In four construction projects, the majority of workers were found to be undocumented.
In one of the projects, 11 of the 16 employees were illegal.
2 were found at another address. At Grand View, most of the 13 construction workers did not have the correct documents.
Two more illegal immigrants were found at another construction project on Brionplein in Otrabanda.
