WILLEMSTAD - The six officers who were involved in the incident at Marnix College Cas Cora have now also had to surrender their weapons. The officers were previously suspended during the investigation.
This concerns the body search that took place on September 7 at Marnix College. On that day, a group of six officers (five male and one female) conducted a weapons and drug check with customs. The school itself had requested this.
During the check, the officers asked minors to undress completely. Some students have also been verbally abused.
The National Criminal Investigation Department has launched an investigation. In accordance with the investigation process, the agents had previously been denied access to the police buildings. The investigation has now gone a step further and it has been decided to take the weapons from the officers involved.
