WILLEMSTAD - Following the determinations of the local authorities regarding the situation of Covid-19, and in the context of restarting activities under the strictest protocols, McDonald's Curaçao restarts its operations from April 25th, through AutoMac. In order to do this, with the absolute priority of protecting the health and well-being of its employees and customers, the brand implemented extra measures specifically focused on taking care of contact, respecting social distance and intensifying cleanliness and hygiene.

Under the "McSafe" concept and with the commitment to contribute in preventing the spread of the virus, McDonalds carried out a comprehensive review in all areas of its operation to add the current recommendations of the health authorities to its existing processes. As a result, for example, cleaning surfaces and hand washing frequency was increased to reinforce its rigorous habitual processes and contact-less procedures have been put in place, including promotion of electronic payment methods, acrylic isolation of AutoMac windows and no-touch hand out of orders.

We have always been recognized for offering the highest industry standards for food safety, cleanliness and hygiene. In this delicate current situation, we dealt with extra care and did everything necessary, in addition to what the health authorities recommend to transmit the greatest confidence and tranquility to our employees and clients; ensuring the protection of their health and well-being while enjoying the McDonalds experience”, stated Jennifer Poulina, Market Manager at Arcos Dorados Curacao.

Increased frequency of high-contact surfaces sanitization

All McDonald’s employees are certified in hygienic food handling.

McDonalds remains committed to promoting teamwork to take care of each other and to overcome this challenging time.
